Hi! My name is Porsché Mysticque Steele. I am the CEO and founder of MysticqueRose Publishing Services.
I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA but spent the last two years living abroad with my husband and it has truly made life exciting. Before moving out of the US, I was trapped in an empty life for 26 years.
Living in a toxic home, all of my actions were monitored and questioned. Out of high school, I struggled to find my true identity as I was coerced into giving up the possibility of higher education, a job, and personal relationships. Though I was allowed to volunteer at a local school as an English and language tutor, it wasn't enough to fulfill my desire to do something incredible.
So, I dove deep into reading other people's stories. I found myself constantly consuming books and posts written by real people who either created an entirely new universe through words or
embraced their vulnerability and told their story.
After years of suppressing my yearning for more and finding
an escape through those stories, I decided to do something
worthwhile. I secretly went online and began applying for
writing and editing gigs. Soon, I was booking gigs and
saving up serious cash. Years later, I had enough to truly begin my life of freedom and that's what I did! I moved out of the country, got married, and threw myself into my work.
Along my journey, I was blessed enough to have been given the opportunity to work with aspiring authors all over the globe, including United States, Sweden, Nigeria, Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Philippines, Macedonia, and more, helping them through every step of the self-publishing process.
Within this time, I developed close and personal relationships with clients who I now see as members of my family. Yet, I realized that I was quite limited in the number of people I could help.
So, at the height of the pandemic, I decided it was time to scale things up a bit and that's when I launched MysticqueRose Publishing Services. Now, with the help of my team, we are able to work with dozens of authors at a time! My hope is that we can continue to do so for decades to come.
